About Us

Our Vision

The Story behind

Our aim is to provide our clients with a state of the art service, using up to date technology and advanced treatment methods to have you injury free and feeling great as soon as possible.

Originally started out as a Podiatry Clinic in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast back in 2014, we soon moved on to better things, renting out a fully equipped location in Miami on the Gold Coast.

After sharing the surgery with other allied health professionals to complement our podiatry services for the first few months, we felt the time was right to bring in a Physiotherapist under the ACE brand and reached out to qualified health professionals on the Gold Coast and Greater Brisbane area.

Adding a qualified Physiotherapist to our team in combination with Miami’s excellent infrastructure enables us to provide individual treatments and customized recovery plans for a broad range of injuries for our beloved ACE Health community.

We strive for innovation without compromising quality, and our vision is to continue to evolve as the next generation Health Centre on the Gold Coast. We work tirelessly to add new services and health experts to our arsenal to be able to cater to a broad range of injuries and customer needs.

We are members of Sports Medicine Australia, aiming to provide the latest and most revolutionized form of proven treatments for a broad range of injuries and needs. HICAPS is available onsite at all of our locations for easy payment. Located in Nerang, Broadbeach and Miami, with free parking available, and strategically close to public transport makes us the perfect option for convenient and hassle-free treatments for the entire family.

At ACE, we are dedicated to being at the forefront of podiatry innovation and treatment, incorporating the highest level of care for our patients. Our state of the art custom orthotics are made using a mix of experienced pediatric assessments and 3D foot scanners and, as a result, we are proud to be able to offer the most precise and efficient orthotics available
on the market.

Amazing Team

  • Mike Luker
Mike Luker Director - BSc (Hons) Podiatrist, SMA, MAPodA, ASCA, Strength & Conditioning coach Lv1

Mike graduated in podiatry from the Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales with Honours in 2010 and since has gained a qualification in advanced dry needling.

After graduation Mike moved to Indonesia working in private practice and with Liverpool soccer academy. He went on to treat some of Indonesia’s top rugby, tennis and golf athletes.

Mike has been working in private practice in Australia since 2011 and has built up an extensive patient base. Some of his current patients include the regular members of the junior Wallabies squad. He used to work at a busy clinic prescribing up to 125+ sets of orthotics per month and so has plenty of experience in this area.

Mikes interest in podiatry came from a big sporting background. In addition to playing for Brighton and Hove Albion and Manchester United soccer youth teams, he was the UK Junior national kickboxing champion and in the Great Britain squad. He was national sprint hurdles champion and big tennis enthusiast, until major injury struck.

Mike is currently a qualified strength and conditioning coach, and coaches state and international level athletes in sprints and sprint hurdles on Monday afternoons.

Mike enjoys all aspects of podiatry but has a main interest in sports podiatry, biomechanics, running technique, custom orthotics and nail surgery. With his extensive background in sports he knows firsthand the demands placed upon the body during intensive exercise and  the importance of injury prevention and effective treatment.
